Sean Dailey is a Associate General Counsel and has been in the legal industry since 2004. He has represented a spectrum of investment advisers in connection with the structuring and distribution of U.S. and non-U.S. private investment products. Sean has formed and advised hedge, private equity and hybrid funds that pursue a number of different investment objectives and strategies. He has represented investors, including endowments and family offices, in their investments in private funds. In addition to private funds, Sean has advised clients on a number of other complex business transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, the operation and purchase of investment adviser businesses and general corporate matters. He has advised funds and their managers and sponsors on an array of legal issues relating to their formation and operation, including compliance with the U.S. Investment Advisers Act, the U.S. Investment Company Act and the rules and regulations of FINRA. Prior to joining Prospect, Sean worked at international law firms, primarily Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Sean received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley. He also received an MA from Dartmouth College and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania.
