John Tracy

John Tracy is Associate General Counsel and has advised on corporate law matters since 2014. Prior to joining Prospect, John worked in private fund formation at Simpson Thacher Bartlett LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP in New York, where he represented sponsors and general partners of private equity funds and hedge funds. In addition, he advised sponsors on GP stakes sales, continuation funds, third-party feeder funds, secondary sales, and various regulatory compliance issues.

John received his BA magna cum laude and phi beta kappa from Haverford College, and his JD with honors from The University of Chicago Law School.
