Prospect Capital Team William Belhumeur William Belhumeur is a founding partner of Prospect Capital and the firm's Chief Financial Officer. He held a similar position for Interfin Corporation, overseeing operations for research, advisory services and product development. Mr. Belhumeur has served as the Chief Compliance and Chief Operating Officer for the firms associated with the Interfin Group and its successors for over ten years. With the Interfin Group, Mr. Belhumeur structured various funds and investment vehicles to assist clients with accessing closed hedge funds, leveraging their investments, and creating portfolios. He is experienced at new fund development, fund operations management, compliance, fund evaluation, due diligence, and market positioning. He has fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur in financial services and technology, and has been an active investor and advisor to financial services and technology companies, including Seniors.com Inc. Mr. Belhumeur holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is registered with the NASD and NFA and holds a Series 24, 7, 63, and 31. for twenty five years and have been business partners in the alternative
investment industry for over ten years. Stuart Hamlyn Stuart Hamlyn is a founding partner of Prospect Capital. Prior to founding Prospect Capital, Mr. Hamlyn was the Vice President of Interfin Corporation, an alternative investment consulting firm. Interfin had placed nearly $1 billion in alternative investments for global institutional clients. Interfin kept current, detailed, research on approximately 150 hedge funds, and advised various European and offshore professional hedge fund investors, including banks, asset management firms, fund of funds, and family offices. Following the reorganization of the Interfin Group, Mr. Hamlyn continued his role as Executive Director of InterSecurities, placing over $500 million in alternative investments. In 2002, InterSecurities formed a partnership with Olympius Capital, and Mr. Hamlyn served on the Investment Committee and Board of Directors for their fund of funds portfolio of top-tier hedge funds. Through this partnership, Mr. Hamlyn was able to allow his clients to gain individual capacity in some of the world's best and most sought after funds. He has been an active investor and advisor to several technology and financial services ventures, including Seniors.com Inc. Prior to his career in financial services, Mr. Hamlyn was a senior software engineer for both Apple Computer in Cupertino, CA, and Motorola, Inc in Boynton Beach, Florida. Mr. Hamlyn attended Brown University, where he received duel Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science. Emerging Manager Fund of Funds. David S. Lissek David Lissek is a Managing Director of Prospect Capital and a registered representative with InterSecurities, Ltd. a fully licensed SEC and FINRA broker-dealer. David's investment management and advisory background has concentrated on raising institutional capital and providing advisory services for Venture, Private Equity, Hedge and Real Estate investment funds and investors. Prior to joining Prospect Capital LLC, David was a Managing Principal at Bainbridge Capital in San Diego. At Bainbridge, he oversaw the strategic development and fund launch/management of private equity operations. Including fund structure, capital acquisition, investment management and fund administration for both commercial real estate and energy funds.SPAN> In San Diego Mr. Lissek also held the position of Senior Vice President at Freeman Associates where he was responsible for institutional business development and client service. Freeman Associates managed traditional and hedge fund investments totaling approximately $5 Billion.SPAN> Prior to joining Freeman Associates, Mr. Lissek was a Principal at Barclays Global investors in the U.S. Institutional Business Group where he held relationship management and business development responsibilities for mega Public and Corporate institutional plan sponsors. Mr. Lissek also worked as an institutional account manager at Oppenheimer Capital and an account executive for Marcus & Millichap in San Francisco where he closed commercial property acquisitions for investment clients in the multi-residential, retail and mixed-use property sectors. Mr. Lissek received a B.S. Accounting degree from the Canisius College in 1988, and holds a FINRA Series 7 registered representative securities license. Michael Rosenberg Michael Rosenberg is a Managing Director of Prospect Capital and a registered represenative with InterSecurities, Ltd. a fully licensed SEC and FINRA broker-dealer. Michael’s investment banking activities concentrate on working with companies in Technology, Media, Entertainment, and Technology Enabled Business Services. His career started with media and media serving technology companies such as NBC, Broadcast Advertiser Reports, and Donovan Data Systems. As an independent consultant in the 1980’s his client list included Westinghouse Broadcasting and Video Monitoring Services (a division of Burrell’s). In the 1990’s he worked with web technology leaders such as Andromedia, Manna Personalization Systems, and True Spectra. His current work in Corporate Finance draws deeply on his engineering and business background to define and leverage a companies’ true value proposition. Rosenberg’s experience includes technology design and implementation, business engineering, and senior executive assignments in both large and entrepreneurial companies. Michael’s category expertise is in Media and Advertising support and delivery systems, Software and Hardware systems, Finance, General Technology, Marketing and Launching/Growing a focused business. Mr. Rosenberg graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a Series 7, 63, 66, and a Series 24 Securities Principal License. Brent focuses on the Business and Financial Service sectors and is based in San Francisco. Brent started his career and spent twenty-one years with Assurant, then part of the Fortis organization, where he held a variety of senior management roles in Product Management, Technology, Marketing, Strategic Planning and Account Management. Prior to entering the Investment Banking field, Brent was a business consultant where he tackled a variety of problems for privately held companies and came to learn and appreciate the unique talents and challenges facing entrepreneurs and private business owners. Brent holds a BS in Finance from The University of Florida and is a graduate of Emory University’s Executive MBA program. He holds a Series 7 and 63 and a 24 Securities Principle’s License.
